Fernanda Mota Alves (PhD, University of Lisbon, 1989) is associate professor of German and Comparative Sudies (Faculty of Letters, Univ. of Lisbon). Her main research interests lie in Memory and Emotion Studies, representations of the modern and contemporary city, 19th century an contemporary German literature. She is the coordinator of the project Aesthetics of Memory and Emotions.
